It Started With a Dachshund I Missed

Unimaglif began while I was living away from home at school. What I missed most was my dachshund—its familiar face, playful personality, and the simple comfort of having my little friend nearby.

Wanting to keep a piece of that companionship with me, I used its distinctive appearance as inspiration for my first pair of plush animal slippers. They kept my feet warm, but the familiar design offered something more: it felt as though a small part of home had come with me.

That first pair sparked a bigger idea. The animals we love often become part of what home feels like—so why shouldn’t everyday comfort carry a little of that connection?

Today, Unimaglif creates playful, animal-inspired house slippers that bring together personality and everyday comfort. From soft materials and cushioned memory foam to non-slip soles and thoughtfully designed animal details, every pair is made to feel good, bring a smile, and add a little joy to life at home.

Our name comes from “Unique Magic Life,” because sometimes the most meaningful magic begins with a familiar friend waiting at your feet.
